The Court of Llewalyn
The Court of Llewalyn is led by the megalomaniac of a Feylord known as the Lord of the Land. Lord Llewalyn perhaps was once one of the more balanced and reasonable individuals or at least for as far as Feylords go. Unlike a good portion of his contemporaries, he has always been fascinated with the material world. Often collecting flora and fauna from the material plane of existence. Often keeping his court isolated from the politics of the Fey wilds, and only a select few warlocks also could even claim him as their patron. Something however changed the Feylord however. Once a relatively quiet and distant lord, he became a far more involved and controlling lord. Actively abducting individuals from the material, and offering power and rewards to materials for their assistance in adding to his great plan to save the material plane. With enough warlocks and servants on the material plane, he was able to bring his great palace city of Irith'Von to the material world.
After this feat was accomplished his servants began the great effort of spreading his domain, druids, warlocks, and other magics were accessed to put life into the long abandoned Kelivaran land. Great swamps and marshlands, and sprawling forests of willow, birch, and some trees native to the feywilds were transplanted into this new environment. Creatures which had originally belonged to the material world were brought back, altered and adapted and re-introduced. However his most prized possession was brought and transplanted in the south. A great and ancient tree which could spread the energies and magics of the feywilds to this land to support his created domain.
He has not made it a secret that he holds a great disdain for the mortals of the material plane. Admonishing them for abusing their world and its nature. He gave a proclamation to one prisoner to bring to Sunshield and beyond stating. That their works would be undone. A Greater union would replace their insignificant realms and balance would be restored in the absence of a deity Nature. He would act as an enforcer of a new way and push back the unforgiving march of civilization. He would however not destroy all peoples. They will learn their place in the world a new, and be given the chance to submit and be adapted to the world to come. Many of the materials who were stolen from the world were brought back..altered, adapted, and changed to give them a chance to thrive in this new world he has planned. These Hybrid species vary and there have been few sightings of them.
This proclamation has made him few friends save for those fanatically devoted to the arts of druidism, or those warlocks already sworn to his court. Despite this, the nations of Variathios seem to be quite content to leave the burden of containing this threat to the Order of Sunshield. The order has managed this task well for the past few hundred years, but sometimes the attacks waged against them are not to break through but to steal people. To what end the Order can only dread.
