Rulers of Heaven
-By natural law: a being lower on the hierarchy must obey any order given by an angel higher on the hierarchy.
-By natural law: a being higher on the hierarchy cannot intentionally harm an angel lower on the hierarchy.
-By the Supreme Choir's decree (the highest ruler): angels cannot harm each other.
Septa, Voice of Gemini - life, light, death, twilight. Septa, the Voice of Gemini, is a dual-natured deity. Charged with Life and Death, Light and Dark, Septa embraces the opposed nature of these domains. Septa's right half bears the appearance of a dark skinned male humanoid draped in white while the right half is an albino female humanoid clad in black. They speak not with a voice, but with one of two voices, sometimes with both at the same time. Septa is fond of balances and scales and is oft depicted with a scale in perfect balance. Their holy symbol is a balanced scale, half white, half black.
Hennex - nature, death, war, trickery. Hennex is a terrifying abomination in terms of appearance. It is not a creature, but an amalgamation of creatures. Which aspects it presents change with the situation it is comfronted with, but no matter what is needed, something is prepared. Every beast and critter that has lived in Hennex's Domain has contributed to this chimera. The venom of an asp or a scorpion, the jaws of a crocodile, the eyes of an eagle, the ears of an owl, Hennex has it all. Fight, fight tooth and nail. Hennex is not cruel; cruelity is senseless. Hennex is, however, savage. Mercy for mercy's sake is not an option. Hennex's symbol is a set of claw marks (3 diagonal lines) dripping red.
Daseoro - life, grave, forge, knowledge. Daseoro works relentlessly, forging his chains. The chains themselves seem to be made from his own skin, the tassles forged of his blood. Perhaps that is why he takes it so personally when someone seeks to defy the end written within his flesh and blood. His bald head has indents where his ears might be, and his giant cloudy eyes seem to indicate he is blind. His skin is gray and metalic. He appears to be naked, though his body has no openings of any kind. When he speaks, it's almost as though a bell is being rung. Daseoro is calm and steady, and always seems to understand, though he is not empathetic or sympathetic. His very essence is somewhat soothing, until it boils over into a rage, the heat of which turns his skin red and can cause fires. His holy symbol is that of a circular chain (either a depiction of it or a literal chain).
Quateki - order, knowledge, tempest, peace. Vaguely humanoid in shape, Quateki is covered in eyes, a feature that extends to their thin leathery wings that are seemingly infinite. Quateki has no voice, communicating instead telepathically. Within the Sanctuary of the Eye, Quateki meditates. Those granted the privelage of meditating with him may find that the soft winds carry visions to them. It is perhaps this meditative disposition that has earned Quateki's reputation. Quateki's symbol is an eye.
Sankaz - grave, war, light, arcana. Sankaz, most frequently depicted as the grim reaper, is often attributed as being 'tunnel of light' amongst the dying. The depiction isn't inaccurate, but it is not complete. Sankaz is skeletal, and clad in black, though he is shrouded in a blinding light that makes anything more specific than that near impossible to determine. His scythe can certainly hew any mortal. For fallen warriors, the knowledge that they have been taken by Sankaz serves as a final comfort that their valor has been recognized. The double cross found upon many tombstones and frequently used as a grave marker is also the symbol of Sankaz (double cross meaning a standard christian cross with a second smaller parallel line above the first).
Drugana - trickery, twilight, peace, forge. Drugana is...difficult to comprehend. Her features decieve the senses. Look into her eyes and you may find yourself visually tracing a fractal spiral that grows ever larger until it seems all encompassing. Observe her fingers and your mind will be unable to determine if she has 4, 5, or 6, or is it 7 fingers..... Her perfectly smooth dark skin is covered in inks that are still as soon as you focus upon them, but shifting as soon as you glance away. Her shawl seems to contain a night sky within it, complete with streaking comets and entire galaxies. Her ears, which spiral indefinitely inwards are adorned with drooping spheres, the one on the left seemingly continuously exploding outwards, while the one on the right seems to perpetually collapse in on itself, and yet their sizes are static. If one were to glance at Drugana briefly so as to gather a general idea of her appearance without falling prey to any particular feature, they would find her to be a primarily human looking woman of perhaps 30 years of age, and one would also find that at least some of Drugana's features are of their own race (elven ears, tabaxi eyes, etc), at least at a cursory glance. If the glance is too cursory, you might find yourself seeing double, and more. Drugana is kind, preferring to disarm or disable rather than resorting to direct violence, though there are those who would argue the non-sensical worlds within which she traps hostiles are a fate worse than death. Any fractal could be her symbol, though her truly loyal followers oft find their holy symbols defy logic.
Ultum, Supreme Choir - order, nature, arcana, tempest. Ultum has no physical appearance, nor does Ultum have a physical presence. And yet, when Ultum speaks even the air itself obeys. Theirs is not a voice, but a seemingly infinite collection of voices, speaking as one. It is said that when an angelic being passes, it's service is recognized and it's voice, it's spirit, it's very being, joins with Ultum. Ultum resides within The Garden, The First Plane of Heaven, where they tend to their infinite collection. Ultum is considered enegmatic and occasionally vengeful, though never unduly so. Because even a whisper from Ultum can shake a mortal, silence is Ultum's primary mode of communication. Ultum's holy symbol is a circle with a dot in the center.
