Klodd, God of Earth (Clod)

Klodd, the immoveable. Slumbering since the dawn of time, his stirs cause the crashing of the earth along faults. Many believe that mountains are the back of klodd.   Klodd can allow krothus to spread life, and farmers pray that he remains asleep so their land can thrive. A small totem on a farm of the two deities are thought to bring a great harvest. Farmers offer fruit or vegetable in the soil as offerings to klodd so his soil shall be potent.   When the kilns arrived, many thought it was klodd who could have constructed them for their ceramic appearance, but the arrival of floating kilns stopped those thoughts.   Villages near mountains and hills will pray to klodd to keep the earth firm and solid so they will not be in danger from shifting mud or falling stones.
