A Simple Stop, A Well Earned Rest

Quests and Rumors:

• An elf named Erdhir seeks a company of adventurers to escort Tico's Codex of Deities and Demigods safely to the elven village of Ren Dorei.

Purpose / Function

Ardenrest is a tavern bult at the crossroads of the Holy Trynnien Empire meant as a stopping point between Trynn, Trinita, and the port of Bright's Landing. The inn has been built up into a small community that thrives on its success. Entertainers from far over the land travel here to preform for the traveling merchants, and clergymen. Small farms have been built in the surrounding land creating a self-sustaining community that is growing into a proper town.

20 years ago a bathhouse was built on the southern side of the inn.

Architecture

The tavern is a stone-walled 3 story building, with a gray shingled roof and a koi pond. It is well-lit by a few magical torches. It contains a number of small braziers that adorn the outside of the structure providing light that extends to the paved street.  Several chimneys adorn the shingled roof, that constantly expel plumes of smoke into the night sky.

Defenses

There are no prominent defenses, but the local folks often protect the inn from bandits, beasts and other creatures attracted to the light and smells of the inn.

Tourism

A popular place for travelers heading to the coasts, Ardenrest provides a cozy and comfortable stay after many days travel from the nearest town. The bathhouse is known far and wide for its sweet aromas, and divine soothing waters.
