23 Kamotag 1934
Excitement fills me. Today starts the research.
All the preparations are finished. Jaylee did a good job. I truly appreciate his help, without him setting up and acquiring all the necessary elements would have been close to impossible.
I am about to perform the first test. May Szed's power be with us!
25 Kemostag 1934
The first few tests have proven successful. I am cautiously optimistic.
But the constant ticking noise worries both me and Jaylee. We don't know where it is coming from or why it even occurs at this stage.
Hopefully, subsequent tests and adjustments get rid of it.
2 Roditag 1934
The clicking is getting worse. We hoped to find a way to stop it by now, or at least learn the reason behind it, but it is proving impossible.
Many new tests are failing. Jaylee wants to abort the research and any further experimentation.
But we must prevail. I will not give up. If we do this, all the power of Szed will be available to everyone. Harvesting it through this machine will enable us to progress. I am not throwing that away.
Let them call me misguided. I am hidden and no one can find me.

Jaylee has left. He doesn't want any part in this anymore. He believes it is Szed itself stopping us. But that is ridiculous.
The clicking persists. It is getting louder and it is harder and harder to sleep through the night.
I feel I am getting closer. I was able to finally extract power from a young sireni we captured. It is good Jaylee ran away. I don't think he has it in him to go through with this.

I am not sleeping anymore. The clicking is too loud.
I had to bury the dead creature by myself. I hurt my back.
The machine is failing all of the tests. There is no progression.
It bit my finger yesterday.
I think it's trying to kill me.
Purpose
Writings of Keterr are a collection of short snippets from Keterr's journal found close to her body.
A goat hearder stumbled upon Keterr's secret chamber near the town of Segor. Inside, he found Keterr's remains along with an odd clicking machine, as big as a person's head, and a small journal with short writings about a terrible experiment Keterr performed. All of these items are now kept in Academia Revna, and as of yet no one was able to stop the machine from clicking nor figure out what it does.
