Nef

Kel'nef, known as Nef, is a Karakar mage and adjunct archivist of the Great Library of the Karakar. She is skilled at rituals, and lacks training in traditional magic.
Nef is a planar expert. She is fascinated by other planes and particularly by their cultures. She normally uses ritual magic to move between planes. This can take a long time: maybe ten days for a simple jump to over a month for a multi-planar jump.
She lives in a cottage about a day and a half north of Evren. She built it in a location that was rather… unstable, planarly speaking, and stabilized it so she could examine the other planes in more depth without being in danger. This stabilization significantly reduced the number of strange creatures that randomly popped up in the region, making her popular with other people in the area.
The cottage looks like an ordinary wood cabin from the outside. Once inside, things change. The entryway alone is, on the inside, bigger than the entire cabin's exterior. Two windows pierce the front wall, allowing light into the room, even though there are no windows on the exterior of the cabin. Not to mention that the walls inside are made of stone, not wood.
Everything in her home has some significance, often aligned to various planes.
Nef is a good cook.
