Memory Crystal

Memory crystals form in the Crystalsand Desert. They're capable of holding information, images, and even memories of those who know how to use them. A memory crystal the size of a cherry pit is able to hold the same information as a hundred-page tome.
Memory crystals look like clear quartz stones until information is stored within them. Once they hold information, there's a faint rainbow hue in the heart of the crystals.
