The monster of the sea
"A long time ago, back when men were young, the moon was enjoying her
reflection on the sea near the coast. A man saw it and though it to be
the most beautiful thing he had ever seen so he grabbed it from the
water meaning to use it as a courting gift. The moon grew angry and
when the man brought his new bride to the water's edge to show her that
I was even more beautiful in the water, the moon turned him into a
monster who's sole purpose was to protect her reflection. When the moon
looked at her reflection and realized that there was a piece missing it
was already to late, that the bride had fled from the waters edge. It is
said that if the monster were to ever realize that part of the moons
reflection was missing he would go crazy and the seas would be wild and
unpredictable, which is why you only see the moon's reflection on wavy
water."
