The Shadowfell

The closest negative plane to the material realm. The Shadowfell is the nexus of ill will and negativity that orbits the material realm just below the surface, often bleeding in through regions like The Shadowlands of Semita's south pole. Scholars of the region know it as not necessarily a source of evil in the world, but more so a trap for evil that puts a check on the influence of The Abyss. Scholars speculate that The Shadowfell conducts this duty alongside negative afterlife planes such as Hell and it's many rings.

The Shadowfell is known most for it being the "home" of the Dreadlords some of the most evil and vile creatures in the world, now serving as a cosmic council of judgement on evil souls that dance with the influence of The Abyss.
