Mountain Dwarves

The eldest of Durin's folk. The crafters of the world, movers of stone, people under the Mountains. The Mountain Dwarves of some of the oldest free peoples on Semita, though they're freedom was not always guaranteed. Over two thousand years ago when Giants ruled the world the Dwarves were their slaves. Though after centuries of enslavement a lone Dwarf from below what is now the Ironfist Mountains named Durin escaped from below the mountains and began to wander the world. After a decade of enjoying his own freedom, Durin journeyed home to free his people and started the Ironfist Rebellion, which ended in freedom for Dwarves all around the world, and the exile of Giants from the known world.
