History
Once the seat of power for the Giant Empire before the Ironfist Rebellion the Eisenberghof now serves as the center of the Dwarven world. All roads in the under highway lead back to Eisenberghof eventually, and in a similar way, all dwarves at one point in their life likely make their way through the hallowed halls of Durin at least once. It is a sacred tradition to make the long walk above ground as Durin once did from where they may live beyond the mountains all the way to the Eisenberghof basking in the freedom that Durin won for them through his sacrifice and that of Magni and the hard fought determination of Dain I.
