Meri Linnoitus

Members of the Mystic Caste modified pumice deposits so that water would not permeate the stone. By sealing the layers touching the water they were able to capitalize on the buoyant nature of the rock, and use it as floating foundation. As a result, Meri Linnoitus sits on the Frigid Sea itself. Buildings are likewise constructed of the modified pumice. The citadel serves as the largest aquatic farming center, and magical research center for the mystic caste.
