Kyui Zesvet (kee'YOO'ee zes'VEHT)

Kyui Zesvet (roughly translated to 'Protector's Light') is an elemental sword wielded by Erasure and is the only one of its kind.
Its name was given by Erasure's husband, Taras Shiroko when he gifted the sword as he considered it a representation of what Erasure means to him and the fact that Erasure has been his protector and companion for, at the time, ten years.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The sword is made from a particular substance which can store essences inside it, similar to the handcuffs used for esh prisoners. Rather than metal, the sword is constructed from this substance, which has characteristics of both metal and stone. Carvings on the blade allow it to store much more light essence than is regularly possible by providing stability and channels for the essence to inhabit.
Over time, the essence will dissipate and Taras can infuse more into it, both he and Erasure consider this act an extent of their bond.

Significance

Taras Shiroko I gifted this to his husband, Royal Consort Erasure, for their first wedding anniversary. Erasure has very little magical ability and thus cannot manipulate elements with his own power. However, using the light essence embedded in the sword, his can attack with both the physical blade and the essence stored in it.
