If you attack with a gythka as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use a bonus action immediately after to make an additional melee attack with it. This attack deals 1d8 slashing damage on a hit, but you do not add your ability modifier to the damage unless you possess the Two-Weapon Fighting style.
A weapon made and favored by the Thri-kreen, the gythka is made of a long shaft of wood, with a spearhead-like blade made of metal or stone fastened to either end.
