Arcane Chasm / Magus Chain
You reconstruct a creature’s mind into an arcane pattern, which you embed into a dense magical rune, attempting to force their mind to realign with it.
Make a melee spell attack against a creature within range. On a hit, the creature must make an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC. The save is made with a disadvantage if the creature lacks the Innate Spellcasting feature.
On a failed save, you can choose to disrupt the creature’s magical flow and mental connections by selecting one of the following effects. The effect is chosen upon the spell’s successful casting:
Disruption of Arcane Casting: The target’s mental pathways and framework for spellcasting are scrambled. It becomes unable to cast any spells that are not granted by the Innate Spellcasting feature or from a magical item.
Severing of Attunement: The target’s bonds to all non-artifact magical items are violently severed. The creature’s attunements are immediately ended, and the benefits of those items are lost.
Artifact Nullification: The target’s attunement to one randomly chosen artifact is severed, and the artifact's benefits immediately end.
All effects inflicted by this spell end after the target creature finishes a long rest.
