Falcon

Falcon lives at Okane Manor in Iron Home and serves as a member of the Order of the Second Fox.

Appearance

Falcon has messy brown hair that almost reaches his shoulders, and amber colored eyes. He often wears simple clothes of patched-together fabrics, adorned with feathers and beads. Sometimes he carries a gnarled wooden staff, more for hiking than for combat. When he uses his powers to assume the forms of animals, he often appears more feral or wild than similar animals normally would.

Personal History

Falcon was actually born with the name Takuro, in S302. His mother, Rika, was a druid of the Circle of Resilience in Mythea's Glade, and his father is a hunter that also lives in the glade and helps feed the others.
When Takuro was very young he took a fancy to the birds he frequently saw flying over head and began referring to himself as Falcon. He even once tried to jump off the roof of one of the lodge buildings to fly, but succeeded only in breaking a leg and both arms. Even after he decided not to try flying anymore, the name caught on and soon everyone but his own parents referred to his as Falcon.
During the Golden Moon of S316, while his father was out hunting, Mythea's Glade was attacked by a lone assailant who turned out to be Miyo in a feral transformed state. Miyo gravely injured Falcon and killed three druids including his mother Rika. Although it wasn't known at the time, Falcon contracted lycanthropy during this attack.
As he came into his powers as a druid, he excelled at animal transformations. The power gave him some measure of control over his lycanthropy, but it's still an ongoing struggle for him. In time be became restless and desired to travel, eventually reaching Iron Home in the south and joining up with the new Order of the Second Fox there.
