Ava is a Snow Fey and grew up with just her mother. Her mother worked as a famed architect in Winter who is renowned for her detail in snow and grandiose structures near Pine Valley. Ava decided long ago that she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps as a Snow Fey, despite the mild animosity from other types of Fey. She realized she would never live up to her mother's example just staying in Winter, so she joined an abroad program that provided her with some starting allowances to begin her trips to other Seasons. She intends to make her mother proud with her research and discovery of new architecture styles, and also hopes to stick it to those who would call Snow Fey unwanted. However, she grew up exclusively in Winter and was mostly taught by her mother, so her understanding of the Greater World and the rest of Seelie Glade is... lacking a bit.
