Battle of the Bahati Fields

The Rusulkan forces are poised to strike an injured Veliuonan brigade that have dug themselves into a pallaside defense. The infantry heavy army is ready to advance, but fear the white dragon they hold. Already dragonslayers, the party infiltrate the encampment and isolate the white dragon, Avverion riding the creature away to put it down while the Rusulkan force crushes the elves before their reinforcements arrive.

Rusulka is a primarily heavy infantry military force, and outnumber the Veliuonans 2-to-1. However, the Veliuonans are dug in and have their white dragon that acts as an easy force multiplier, and reinforcements are coming from the south-west soon. Unawares to the Rusulkans, the white dragon is grievously injured, and having it take to the sky would be its death.   The five adventurers along with some Rusulkan rangers infiltrate the encampment, breaking into the command circle and wreaking havoc while Avverion steals away the white wyrm, taking it to the mountainside where he is able to singlehandedly slay it in its pitiful state. The beginning of combat signals the army to advance, and there is a clean sweep as the Veliuonans are quick to surrender without their trump card.   The party is brought before the Colonel in charge of the Rusulkan force, and he entreats them to bring news that Veliuona has invaded before the Royal Parliment, to convince them to muster an army to fight the Veliuonans before it is too late. The king is a monarchical figurehead, but he is already aware of the threat but is finding it impossible to navigate the political quagmire Parliment causes.
