Thrastians

The ethnic group that lived in the land of what is modern day Thorolund, and are still the primary ethnic group of the region. The group of people were so named for the original name of their region, the Kingdom of Thrastia, which fell when The Thorn Lord turned coat and aided Impiltur in its conquest, putting the realm under Imperial control, with the Thorn King as the ruling steward second only to the Emperor himself for his efforts.
The term Thrastian and Thorolundi is interchangeable among the populous, with those with anti-Impiltur sympathies preferring the former name. For the common folk however, either name is acceptable.
