Slightly farther out at 6 light years from the Sol system, Bernard's Star is an ancient star system that was the second star system colonized during the First Expansion.

Geography

Bernard's star is a single star system. It's primary star is an M4 type or a low-mass red dwarf star. The planetary system is much more sparse when compared to Sol or Alpha Centauri, with Barnard's star being home to a single rocky world and a pair of dwarf planets.
Currently, there are two world stations here built out of the unusually thick asteroid belt that occupies the outer orbit outside the main three worlds.
