Scatterhome

Scatterhome is an archipelago off the coast of the continent of Praxa, which is dominated by the Eternal Vitrean Empire. The islands that make up the archipelago are scattered across an area thousands of miles long and wide and make up the majority of the world's land mass. It is almost arctic in the northern part of the archipelago where the seas are often frozen solid and the islands are subsumed into the ice. In the ecuatorial regions, there are islands of lush vegetation, full of animal life, hot and humid. In the regions farthest to the south it grows colder but the seas are not cold enough to freeze. Giant waves and high winds have been known to crush and sink any ship to dare its treacherous waters.   Every race and religion is represented across the archipelago. The Empire is mainly human and worships a false duo of gods known as the Sanctity. They are Thea and Deo and they were invented by the current Emperor, Cletus XV. The island nation of Galliver was the main opposition to the expansion of the Empire into the Archipelago. Galliver, a democracy successfully brought together some of the other powerful nations to defend against the almost universally reviled Empire. The Kingdom of Tír na nOrc, one of the richest countries in Scatterhome, is mainly occupied by orcs and has been in a state of war with the Empire for many years. They worship the Morrigiú, the triple goddess of the orcs. The Greater Aquatic Empire is technically the greatest power in the world but remains mainly beneath the waves as it is ruled by Aquatic Elves. They have been opposed by the Sahuagin of the Scatterhome Seas for as long as anyone can remember
