sovereign silver

Sovereign Silver is a rare form of silver. It does not tarnish, it is stronger than steel, is easily enchanted by magic, and it's touch is extremely harmful to undead and Void Demons.

It's similar to Tolkien's mithril in that it's silvery and rare, but it is far from identical. Mithril is very light weight and sovereign silver is heavy and dense. Mithril is more for armor and sovereign silver is more for weapons.
