The Gnomes are a strange race, while some live deep underground, deep in the forest, or even finding solace in the bowls of a large city. The common thread for all of them no matter where they are is the need to discover or create. Whether it's pushing the limits of the arcane, bending machines to their will, or finding why the divine sundering happen.
After the The Divine Sundering many of the gnomes ran from the deep woods to the larger cities or deep underground to avoid the devastation that it caused.
