The Conservatory Shrike of Golryon attacks Meneval, raining dimensional foes down on it from above. Through three Tales, the city is bombarded from above with powers physical, arcane, and extradimensional alike. It is finally beaten back by the Alliance with the unexpected help of a Tarakonian legion known as the Eternal Paladins.

The siege is thought to be increasingly effectual as the IA have not fortified Meneval with the artillery that it might need. This is the reveal of mass teleportation of Shrike-towers, which was enabled through the Skirmish of the Last Manor, despite its physical use not being available.   Near the end of this time, the Eternal Paladin and Al Malik named Amnar Solarin sees a vision of the Shrike tarnishing their yet-uncrafted god. Rather than lose the work they have done, they embark on a holy crusade across the sea to the Isles, and join the War of Manifest Mythopeia wholesale.   This opens the eyes of the Bay to the opportunity of the west, beyond simple meddling.
