The Second Jeriec Empire offers its own aid to the Highlands, and they ally together to purge the Bay of Evandyr from errant forces of pirates and dark powers.

Every century or so, the Empire itches for another offensive Campaign, but the Empire had already reclaimed all it desired to. A relatively small contingent of a thousand Jerian soldiers and beast-bearers sails to the Highlands and aides them in campaigns against the Jaratt and pirates of the bay. In return, the Highlands share their spiritual ideas of nature. The Empire's faith has no magical ability such as clerical faiths, but the notions of spirits and the natural world runs very closely in line with the Pillars. They use this to achieve different sorts of meditative power, creating the Seekers of the Jade Dawn, a sect of Seekers that commune with Spirits to percieve clearly the corruption of Demons. These are sorta druidic monks that are demon-hunters, with detect demon at will. This aide also has the effect of bettering relations between the Stavs and the Empire, allying their naval forces against the multitudes of pirates through the bay.
