Founding

Disagreements and misunderstanding turns to war between the Mei'larians and the Stavs at Kegar, burning homes and raiding villages without remorse due to fear. Admist the meaningless struggle, the hate attracts the hunger of the Jaratt, cannibalistic men that devolved into beasts and are drawn to the sins of man. They kill and eat both sides, putting into question the organization of the Highlands.

A religious uprising of Wood Elves in Old Cerghon pits man against elf until fiendish Gnolls descend on the town and kill many. The elves retreat to The Old Forest, and follow a god that is said to save them from all the troubles of society. The men defend the city and then declare their intentions to no longer fight other races, and train to fight the beasts of the Highlands, and The Shores. Sofer is founded, named as "Home of Guardians." The elves there become the west elves, becoming reclusive before later xenophobic.
