Wanting to keep the power their own and their money safe, the Dukes fortify their borders and prohibit the ownership of True Magic to all except those they allow. At the same time, Lofus helps his noble ally in the Haos to become the permanent rulers of Dinlirys, although they do not hold absolute control over their city like he does.
