Typhen, The Horrors of the Night

The Typhonic Rune is Terror, it's Material unknown or nonexistant and it's portent 'The Devil'. Like all of the Themes, it has a holy Rune, named the Guardian who protects, or the Theme's consciousness. Typhen's holy Rune is Change.
Erinion and the elves who worship the Themes, name Melaphar as the consciousness of Typhen, separate but connected to Typhen itself. Melaphar is the god of Dark Transformations. Reivanta and the men who follow the Guardian Faith name Valefor as the Guardian against Typhen. Valefor is the god of Tempations and Black Hearts.
On the 4th of Apri, on the years that end in 5, The Typhen is Convergent. Terrible beasts are formed on this day. Worshipers can be granted "gifts". S.O.s cheat on this day most. Black deeds are performed by good people. Tieflings are created. On the 4th of Apri, on the years that end in 0, The Typhen is Divergent. Redemption is found for many evil doers. Most curses break on all. Fear spells do not work.
