In the dark before time, the Jeriec Empire claims Avernus the God-King created them and favored them above all the other races, and in a bloodbath among all the races, Avernus taught them the truths of the world.
Honor does not exist, truth is subjective, and light is a falsehood. The followers of the Olde Way know that the only true victor is the survivor. Use Poison. Use dirty tricks. Assassinate the enemy, because in the end that is how one will know their passing through the world.

Theyd have werewolves feed on the weak in their cities, so that the strong could kill them and become better. Short term suffering begets long term strength is their mantra, and they take this to new extremes.
