The Forgotten Kingdoms

And for your betrayal, your cities shall crumble and your lineage be drowned beneath the waves of anonymity, for the greatness of Reivanta shall never be surpassed, and the desert shall never forgive. There is no cure for Black Hearts, save death.

--The Last Councilor of Reivanta, ~ -1430 BBE

The Bronze Sea is a shattered, dangerous land, which has housed civilizations and religions and ideas beyond the scope of any scholar's knowledge. From the Raiding of Reivanta in -1430 BBE, to the founding of Tharsis in 2 AB, countless myriad peoples thrived and were destroyed in this land. Their stories lie forgotten, save for their halls of the ancient tombs, where the dead of the Forgotten Kingdoms lie, with no secrets left to tell.   Over nearly fifteen-hundred years, great cities were built, wonders were uncovered, and the glory of Reivanta was always the goal. However, the desert has claimed back all these lost civilizations took from it, leaving only scattered ruins as testament to life's futility. All of these ancients are gone, leaving no wisdom for the living, save a warning... do not fight the desert. The Kingdom of the Al-Mosaks in the East Tythis Expanse, to the Hill Lords of Khufu's Cairn, to the fortresses of the Bellia Ronin, the given name to the great warriors of West Kalaharii.   But perhaps this time it will be different. Tharsis has lasted hundreds of years, standing against the supposed curse, the leaders preaching the protection of the The Guardians. Yet dark tombs hold lost secrets... secrets some would do anything to recover, tempting the excavators to new depths.   What is one more step? One more tomb uncovered? One more story that the dead are eager to tell... before the mind closes from the shock of ever-knowing.
