Tengu

The Tengu are shrouded offcasts, unable to live in the Golryon Wastes, simply because they cannot fly. The Aarakoocra and the Tengu were once a single people, but the last breath of Reivanta curses that which betrayed them to their enemies, and caused the barbarians of the dunes to find the city, get inside, and immediately sack and destroy it. This curse took their wings and cast them from the Wastes, never allowing them to have a home of their own, for they can only take, as well as taking their voice, for they may only lie. They are always shrouded and covered in cloaks and furs, even in moderate climates, for they require the heat of a 90-110* desert to function usually. They are unheard of North of Dinlyris or South of the Peak.
Biologically, they are avian humanoids.

Ability Flaw: Constitution
Languages: None and All. Tengu can understand all languages that they've been around for a while (few days), but cannot speak for themselves. They can, however, mimic others when they speak perfectly, as well as all ambient sounds, such as a river or swords clashing. If done to trick another person, a deception check is needed.
