Gender

Gender in Sarhnal is truly nuanced and multifaceted in it's varied expressions. While traditional genders of Man and Woman exist. Another category has long been present and accepted in all realms: the Imbaath are those who identify more flexibly or somewhere in-between either side of the spectrum. A person who is an imba may present in a masculine or feminine way or may shift between those presentations or may even present in an agendered way. In Sarhnal people may have an axe to grind with you, but not over your gender identity. Imbaath either use any pronouns, or a selection of pronouns, which may include traditional gendered pronouns or "tai" which is the elvish pronoun for they/them and can be used for either the plural or singular.   Helpful Notes 1.
