Frost Trolls

Icy monsters of the open tundra, Frost trolls are not a sentient species, but a savage predators. They live in groups and are ruled by a queen, and are feared by all who live near their territorial realms.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Large hunched bipeds, with long arms reaching the knee when upright. Their three fingered hands have large claws, and their three toed feet are very broad.

Genetics and Reproduction

Mothers have one child at a time, and care for their child the first two years of its life. Then the child leaves the group and joins another.

Ecology and Habitats

Frost trolls live in permafrosted areas, preferring mountainous lands. However, most live in the unexplored southern or northern plains of the world, on the Congealation Steppe or the plains of Motam

Dietary Needs and Habits

Frost Trolls feed on the wolves, mountain goats, occasionally clashing with wyverns (when living in mountains).

Social Structure

Ruled by a solitary queen, the most fertile female of the group stays in the tribes' cave and gaurds the young, while all others hunt for food.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Mostly in plains of Motum, likely the Congealation Steppe, and very rarely in the Durnhalla mountains.
