Commonly used phrases, Humans   "Playing the Mithril market" The mithril market is legendary for its instability, and plays a large part in the diminishment of Dwarven funds. People will often say 'you might as well play the mithril market' to indicate disdain at what they believe to be a fools errand, a risky maneuver, or a hoax.   "The Niroi will eat you!" A commonly used threat, especially on the weak and weak-minded. Niroi are perceived as a myth, and also relatively weak. It is generally agreed that Niroi, if they exist, would be a primitive species that poses little threat against modern society.   "Goblin's favor" kidness done for the sake of greed, i.e. attending a funeral because you hope you've been included in the will. Generally seen as a positive trait among goblins, downright insulting to Hobbits or elves, and acceptable among humans.
