Alba

Welcome to Alba, a wonderful place filled with breath taking scenery and wonderful shops filled with everything you could possibly need after all we live in a Utopia and what would a Utopia be without everyone being provided for?

Geography

North of Alba are the awe inspiring mountains which are called "The Watcher's Mountains" they have been here since Alba was but a camping ground for travellers. At the bottom of the mountains is the Loch Alba which is as deep as it is filled with wildlife such as fish, ducks and much more. Alba is covered in grass, trees and beautiful flowers. Many Poets have desperately tried to capture its beauty in words but have fallen short of the lands true magnificence. There are many settlements in Alba such as Ashtown

Fauna & Flora

The flowers that cover the land are brightly coloured and a true beauty to behold. There is the Wild Daisy which grows during Late Spring and disappears near Autumn. They have white petals that curve upwards and a yellow centre. The stalk is green and has small green leaves. They grown no bigger than 3ft tall and give off a calming scent. The Dawn Rose that grows as the sun rises and only at that time. It lasts through Summer but disappears when Summer ends. They have soft orange petals mixed with a light pink and white. They have a green stalk with green thorns with yellow tips. They can grow to 5ft tall and never grow alone. The Ever-Bloom is a small flower with bright blue petals and has a small green stalk with small green leaves. They grow all year long no matter the weather and have a distinct smell that is often used on farms or in hospitals to make places smell more pleasant.   The plants that grown here are beautiful and plentiful. The most common type of tree in Alba are fruit trees. There are Apple Trees that produce Sweet Reds and Sour Greens. There are Blueberry Bushes and Raspberry Bushes. Fields of Strawberries that go on for miles.   With all the flowers there are bees to harvest pollen from them and there are butterflies of every colour. In the fields you can find rabbits and all sorts of birds tucking into the berries that grow abundantly there. But are careful to avoid the foxes or wolves that keep a keen eye out for them.

Natural Resources

To the east of the Watcher's Mountains there is the Lady's Forest which was brought into being by the First Queen of Alba along with her many daughters. Hence the name given to the forest. It surrounds Alba, it is so vast that some parts are unknown and have not been mapped.   In the Watcher's Mines, the people find the metals and stone they need to build. They march from their homes to the mountain every morning to mine. And bring back what they find and sell it at the Markets.   The Farmers find good work in Alba which provides the land with plenty meat and food for its people to eat so that they may work to keep the Utopia going.
