Ashtown

Welcome to Ashtown a lovely town near the Watcher's Mountains and West of Loch Alba.

Demographics

The majority of Ashtown are well off thanks to the town being a producer of bright clothing and sparkling jewellery. Although there are a few who do slightly less well than others as those who are more skilled tend to gain more customers.

Government

The Town is run by the Queen's Uncle and Aunt, Lady Ailsa and Lord Brannon who run the town with the help of their advisors and knights of there own.

Defences

Curving around the back of the town is the River Ash which widens from the point of the Miner's Bridge to a width where many would find it difficult to cross as the strength of the currents get worse the further along you go. If they manage to cross the River Ash then they will be met with a wall surrounding the town with a tower on each corner of it with lookouts and patrols around the walls. Each tower is filled the long distance weapons.

Industry & Trade

The inhabitants of Ashtown produce the latest fashion that Alba wears from extravagant gowns to expensive necklaces. The town lives to make these wonderful pieces of clothing and jewellery. The town imports from farming towns and villages for most of their food such as meat and vegetables. They also entice people in search of work to their town even if they only stay during the Summer for temporary work.

Infrastructure

The Town has sewers for the waste so that the road through the town remains as clean as it can. There is a bridge across River Ash that leads out of town and towards the mountains. Miners cross here on their way to work. The bridge was built here as it is the narrowest spot of the river.

Natural Resources

The Town is surrounded by fields and trees from which they get most of their resources. As well as from the Watcher's Mines where they get their metals and jewels. And from the River Ash they can have easy access to water.
