Krin

During the Age of Myth, the northern and eastern coasts of Carentress where the subjects of constant raids by a group referred only to as "the sea peoples." These coastal raiders over time formed more permanent camps in the region now known as the Dragon Shores, but somewhere along the lines, the group split, some crossed back over the sea of scales and their decedents would become the Nordmen. Those left behind, largely abandoned the sea faring ways of their ancestors and formed nomadic tribes spreading mostly to the west as far as the Coast of Gold and the Lamazian Steppes and would eventually come to be known as the Krin humans.   The Krin branch of humanity tends towards pale eyes, skin, and hair tones and are generally considered the most attractive humans by Sun Elf standards, leading to a significant half-elf population. They are the most common form of humanity within the Republic of Himse.

Culture

Culture and cultural heritage

In contrast to the more hierarchical and ordered Nurdian humans, Krin humans tend to value freedom, personal determination, and merit. Krin culture allows one to designate successors rather than follow bloodlines. While there are few examples of strictly Krin states, smaller scale settlements or groups following Krin ideals have been remarkably successful.
