Session 21

The party returned to Bloodmoon's Keep, spending the day speaking with their companions and trying to learn more about the worm and dragon. They explored the golden dragon in the files in the library as well as the dragon that had been controlled by a mind flayer centuries ago.
As they debated what to do next, Lao Klingsmun entered the keep. Lao and Sanguis spoke for a few minutes, Lao indicated that they were on a secret mission for Elder Shadowpaw and that it was imperative that nobody else know about the mission. They said they didn't know the details but it was suspected that someone in the clan was a follower of the Cult of Nirethan, Lao was sent to investigate and explore a rumored link to the City of Dragons that the Cult of Nirethan has. Lao was unable to find out much about the cults primary goals but did gather some information about the dragon citys location and entrance.
Singe got a suspicious read on Lao and the party went to meet with Elder Shadowpaw to investigate further. Elder Shadowpaw didn't provide much information in return, but seemed surprised when they said Lao had told Sanguis that it was Elder Shadowpaw who had sent them on this mission.
The party went about their evening, heading to bed in their separate chambers. As Sanguis turned to walk into his room he heard a woosh of air. He turned his head and saw a dagger 2 inches from his face, caught in the hand of his shadow.
