Rajari Sanikar
Rajari Sanikar governs a restless, angry province. Koobeer is divided in two geographically, politically, and often culturally as well. The southwestern half of Koobeer works the mines on the southern slopes of the Ghinanta Mountains. They also fish along the relatively small amount of shoreline. A large portion of the southern Koobeer Province is taken up by the Oberdea Desert. What foodstuffs the southerners can raise or catch is sufficient for them, but there is little else to be sent "inland" to the Koobeerians in the northeast. The Koobeerians above the Ghinanta also mine the mountains for their ores, but what other land they have is rockier than the similar lands below the mountain range. There is less farmland available. Much of the daily necessities are obtained through trade via Vignea. The northerners are resentful of the little regard they receive from their southern counterparts, and the southerners feel the burden for feeding the entire province is unfairly on their shoulders. There is much bad will between northerners and southerners and Rajari Sanikar has his hands full balancing the two groups. He is a physically strong man, a no-nonsense leader who has a crack troop of provincial soldiers in his camp. There are occasionally incidents involving soldiers and civilians, and while Rajari may be respected by the Kooberians, his guards are almost universally hated and feared by both sets of people.
