Karakana

Karakana is the province farthest northwest in Sangania. It's capital, Howton, is east of the Draleen Mountains. Its land is mostly mountainous with a large forest extending inland from it. There are some plains to the northeast of this area. The people of Karakana are as independent as possible due to their frontier-like lives. They trade with Haktheen, obtaining foodstuffs in return for their craftwork, which is known and respected throughout Sangania. Their leather and wood products are especially sought after elsewhere in the country, but particularly in Haktheen and Vignea, which uses Karakana wood barrels to age its wine. Karakana trades little with its neighbor to the east, Arrika, and dealings with Koobeer to the south, across the Draleen Mountains, are rare. Karakana's color is red.
