The Cycle

Each living creature has a fuel, a brilient gold-white wisp of flame, that powers the body known as a soul. This fuel is forever being recycled by the Gods to fuel new beings between the many worlds. All souls have been going through this prosses since the start of time.
The begining of the Cycle is in the heavens in the hands of Fàirel who flys through the skys dropping souls off into the diffrent worlds. He then guides them into one of the many bodys crafted by Beathanam, the God of Life. After a body lives its life on the earth Liquescimus provides and dies the soul will slowly begin detatching itself and moves towards the closest large body of water to sink down to the abyss into the care of Maretius, God of Death. Once there, the soul stays at the bottom of the world's ocean for 500 years being cleaned of any connections to its old life, at the end of this prosses the soul is sent towards the sky where it is picked up by Fàirel.
While the souls are scrubbed of any connection to their old life its seems that souls tend toward similar personalitys between all of their reincarnations although it is only the basics. The planet where your soul is taken depends on how you lived in your last life.
It is possible to mess with the cycle by catching souls but to do so is considered a great affront to both the God of Life and the God of Death.
