Black Annis

If while you are walking through the Fairlands and come across a lone hill topped with a large oak tree in a clearing in the forest, run as fast as you can and pray to whatever god you believe in that Black Annis hasn't noticed you. People tend to keep all their windows closed at night even in summer for fear that the long arms of Black Annis will reach through stealing any children to devour. Known as a Hag on equal par with Baba Yaga, she terrorises many all around Sandkasten dragging any she catches back to the Fairlands to skin and eat. Her approach is always preceded by the sound of her grinding teeth, striking fear into any that hear it.
