Volk Watchtower

Purpose / Function

The purpose of the Watchtower in Volk is for worshipers of Ulasis to have a safe place to worship their deity as well as host a small contingent of Witchaussers that can be deployed when needed.

Alterations

The stone tower rises up about 100 feet into the air and contains a less impressive Opal Eye that still covers an decent amount of the capital.

Architecture

Due to the presence of the Shaper's Guild, the tower is a Black Stone Monolith that towers over the city, with almost no evidence of actual construction but it tapers into the obelisk shape near the top.

History

Volk's Watchtower is as impressive as it is because of Baron Douglas' agreement with the Ulasian Lord General. The agreement allowed Baron Douglas to remain neutral in the war and to avoid having a garrison stationed in in Volk. Unfortunately, the stipulation was the use of the newly constructed Watchtower as a base of operations for the Witchaussers throughout the Barony.
