The Micah Exodus

In the last days of Tal-Kwena, when the Orcs of the Icespire Peaks rebelled against the Red King, Akatorvak, Son of Tiamat, the prophets of Ulasis, god of Time, foresaw the great catastrophe that would render the lush Valley of Man into the flooded swamp lands it is today.
In that time, they prayed and gathered their faithful to them. With one week before the prophesied end, the Angel Micah, the Right hand of Ulasis came to those who had gathered. They guided them throughout Tal-Kwena collecting more faithful and went south, where they were told a Beacon was awaiting them and that their faith would be rewarded with an empire never to be lost to time.
As they left Tal-Kwena, the waters came, wiping out much of the structure of Tal-Kwena, sinking most of it into the water soaked ground. Those that survived in the north became the Barons and the Nobles of Hassera, finding salvation in pacts with demons and other dark masters. In the South, those lead by the Angel Micah ended their journey at the doorstep of the Tower of the Oculus, where the wizards and clerics therein welcomed them and deigned them the masters of this land, choosing Empress Sofia Luca I as their first ruler.
