Hassera

To the far east, where the flood waters were most destructive, is Hassera. A conglomeration of monstrous and wildmen tribes lead by a cursed baroness, this is the place where nightmares are made. In practice, Hassera is divided into tribal lands whom swear individual fealties to local lords like the Countess or the Storm Queen who in turn swear fealty to the Witch Queen of Ira. Demonic summoning, necromancy, pillaging and war are all common and praised practices in Hassera.

Geography

Hassera is a collection of cold but snowless low mountains, watterlogged forests of dead trees and swamplands that support only the haridest of life forms. There is plenty of freshwater rivers throughout the land that lead to basalt cliffs on the eastern coast.

Fauna & Flora

Many of the classic species of fauna have been hunted to extinction here and instead you encounter domestic and wild War-Boars from one of the layers of the Abyss, blink dogs and displacer beasts continuing their hunt across the planes and dragons take to this place wholy.
Flora reflects the disposition of the inhabitants, the Vampiric Rose, if not spotted before nearing it will take your life from you before you can scream. Cave divers will find themselves hunted by Parasitic Coral that grows in the deepest part of the swamps.
On the more benevolent side, Moonbloom and Sunken Sprig are both valuable components in potion craft.

Natural Resources

The most important of Hasseran resources is the Dull green metal of Adamantine found in deep swamp caves and is used in the creation of ritual tools and weapons for champions.
