Great Ugrog much gifted with gold || mighty giant blood spiller
Fast friend for fellow foebanes || all fealty to Kurog he swore
Hot his wrath in red rage showing || reckoning not his own blood spilt Faithful follower of chieftain chosen || fated to fall in dark and cold All-bloodied arm upraised in anger || his axe with war-art falling Many man-mountains he slew || marrow meat he spread like mist Kin companion was he called || cold fury he felt at his kith’s fate Across cold ice-crystal he came || called by Kurog-oath sworn Frost fortress he entered footsure || fierce fell-wolves he fought Deep down into the dark we delved || dwellers deadly we battled Ice eyed was our assailant tall || steel-hearted was smiling Ugrog Short step to slaughter dealt || swift slash from war-axe swinging Health fast failing from fierce foe-fight || flight forced but no fear felt Great glittering hoard glimpsed glinting || gold-guarding dragon guessed at Cold cavern beyond carved corridor || cautious cave-in exploring Boneyard banes we believed in || but beyond death they rested Ambushing amphibians await us || agonising fighting against them Gulped into gullet is Urgog bodily || gut-ripping angrily he emerges Grim guessing Griff mage guard places || over gaping gap in cave ceiling Great dragon-groan greets our hearing || gold-guarding dragon is upon us Fast force forbidding holds it far from us || fell wounded fast we flee it Rested and revived we return for reckoning || riches wrongly held would we take Gold-guarding dragon we goad with glee || great than guessed our foe is Cold clouds of ice its killing breath is || cleaving killing blades are useless Fell fire and fear frenzy we fight it with || fellow flight-wyrm follows it Terrible talons tear Ugrog top to tailbone || toe to toe the foe he fought Fearless foe facing he had fought || forgetting all but fellowship fealty Glorious with great-axe gore-glistening || unto Gruumsh his soul glides Great Ugrog much gifted with gold || mighty giant blood spiller
