Ordnung

The Ordnung is the common culture of the True Giants, and links all the various sub-species together.
The Ordnung is based in the fundamentally Lawful nature of the True Giants.
The two main tenets of the Ordnung are:

• The sanctity of oaths. Oaths of allegiance and service regulate all the relationships of the Ordnung. No giant would willingly break their oath, so the structure of the Ordnung is inviolate, or very slowly changing.
• Creators, not destroyers. True Giants created The Materium, and they follow their destiny to make the Materium ever more perfect and harmonious. Other races may see the giants as destructive, but destruction is necessary sometimes for better creation. Other races do not understand this, because they cannot see the true harmony of the Materium. Giants that are not True Giants (like Hill Giants and Frost Giants destroy for the sake of destruction rather than for creation. They are not part of the Ordnung, and need to be ruled and controlled by the True Giants.
• Reincarnation. Giants that have followed the Ordnung well are reincarnated into a higher rank of the Ordnung. Those that have failed are born lower. Thus while the Ordnung does not change, the position of giants within it does over many lifetimes.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

Giantish and Dwarvish. These are two related languages, written in a common script. The main difference is that Dwarvish has more technical terminology, while giantish is more philosophical.
Unlike most languages, giantish and dwarvish don't have different dialects in different areas, and are universally spoken by their species. The Lawful nature of the True Giants means that their languages have remained pure and unchanged since time immemorial.
