Samsara is a simulated reality, that was created to realistically simulate the actual evolution of sentience as well as civilization. it's creator, Dr Samuel Abrams, believed that it would open the door to enlightenment for humanity, and he named it Samsara after the Buddhist and Hindu name for the physical world, synonymous with the word for "Suffering".
