Hornhill

Hornhill is the seat of the Dux of Talhorn, and thus the capital of the rural Talhorn Duxia. It is nestled by the shores of lake Nimule, at the northern extremity of the Greenwood. While much of the population supports itself by fishing and farming beyond the Greenwood, it is also a highly significant administrative centre as the capital of a whole Duxia, and it boasts both an impressive Duxial palace within the town (for official and administrative business), and an imposing fortress where the Duxi and his household reside.
Though not a major trade hub of its own accord, it is situated on the quickest route from the Redfern Commonwealth to Calthor, and thus sees a significant amount of merchant traffic, spending, and patronage. However, it remains the economically poorest of the Duxia capitals - with Talhorn focusing on agriculture and mineral extraction more than commerce or manufacturing.
