City Gate
Built over the ruins of a former settlement, Saltmarsh is protected by this stretch of wall that stands from ages before the fishing village existed. The wall is crumbling in many sections, gradually being worn down by the wind and rain rolling in off the Azure Sea. A single gate is guarded by only a few soldiers, often veterans who cannot or choose not to walk patrols. Instead, the can often be found gossiping with those traveling the road and passing flasks between themselves at the gate.
